Antiquing at Merchant Square

It’s been SO hot in Arizona that we’ve been having such a bad case of cabin fever from low key weekends at home. We like doing outdoorsy and historical things so summer gets a bit boring for us here.  I did a little researching online for things to do and discovered Merchant Square. It’s an antique mall in Chandler with dozens and dozens of booths.  It was just what we needed: Indoors? Great! History? Fantastic! Shopping? It just gets better and better!

Husband likes searching for historical memorabilia (specifically presidential pinbacks) and I…. well, I look for teacups and fashion jewelry. :P

Bisbee Ghosts at the Copper Queen Hotel

Have you ever stayed in a haunted hotel? We hadn’t until this weekend! Built in 1898, the Copper Queen Hotel is one of Arizona’s longest running hotels. Some guests there have been dead for years.
