Prior to yesterday, we hadn’t taken the Jeep offroading so Saturday we decided to kick up some dust on Schnebly Hill Road in Sedona!

Before we headed north, we rendezvoused at our place & got to see Rocco test his new Vibram’s shoes:
Shoes are pretty key when hiking in AZ what with the hot ground & prickly cacti…. however, Rocco was not of the same mindset. He’s adamantly shaking his head ‘no’.
Before we hit Schnebly Hill Road in Sedona, we stopped off at a scenic view point to stretch our legs.
We headed back to the Jeeps after a short walk & the dogs beelined for shade under the Jeeps! I had thought Sedona would be a little cooler than Tucson but it was still pretty toasty out there!
We drove a little further through town & hit up Schnebly Hill Road. It’s a relatively easy off road trail (unless you’re in a sedan) but has absolutely beautiful views of Sedona! This was pretty exciting for us since we hadn’t taken the Jeep on any offroad trails.

After scoping out a potential camping site (see above picture), we headed downtown for smoothies/coffee.
On an end note, apparently Sedona doesn’t approve of wheelchairs!
