Arkansas-Mississippi Road Trip Part 1 (View Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6)

Arkansas & Mississippi, two states I never thought I would ever visit (it never crossed my mind)… Yet last weekend, there we were on another adventure, from Little Rock to Natchez via Vicksburg.

We flew in to Little Rock, Arkansas early Friday evening and upon arriving in Little Rock, we drove around the city to check out the capital building and to see the historic Little Rock Central High School, which played a key role in the American Civil Rights Movement.

Early Saturday morning we headed to Bill Clinton’s presidential library before heading down to Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Husband was marveling at how the stand supported the building. I was marveling at how much it resembles a trailer. :D

“The one that you’ve been waiting for.” I am sure that line was used many times….

After the Clinton Museum, we headed south. We stopped by the Wiley A. McGeehee park, which was too pretty to pass by without stopping.

Very cool. By the way, we took the family to the Grand Canyon and Bearizona this weekend. I’ll try to get a blog post from it soon.
