I lost most of the pictures but here are a couple I managed to save from today’s outing to the Vancouver Aquarium in BC.
Sometimes it’s hard to appreciate it because of the constant grey overcast, but on summer days like today, it is easy to see just how beautiful Washington state is. We have everything in terms of nature: tall evergreen trees, snow-capped mountain ranges, rocky beaches, waterfalls, clear lakes and on the east side I hear we even have canyon, plains & desert-like areas.
Today we took a drive out to Mount Rainier State Park. The road was closed at a certain point because of all the snow but that didn’t deter us from finding another trail to explore!
One of my favorite things to do in Washington is to hop a ride on the ferry. It doesn’t matter where…. I just like feeling the ocean breeze on my face. Today we took the ferry to Whidbey Island.
My other half & his family used to hike Ebey’s Landing & this is the same hike we went on today!
Today we visited one of my favorite zoos: the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, WA
We decided to take advantage of rare occasion in Washington (the sun shining) & spent the afternoon outside studying at Gasworks Park.
