Our final day of our road trip to San Diego ended on an exhilarating note with a kayak tour into the La Jolla Sea Caves.
I think the company we chose to tour with, HikeBikeKayak, made all the difference in whether we had a good time or a great time. We had a great time. They have a small group policy and guides that are well educated in the local wildlife and habitat.

I think my husband & I enjoy rolling around in the dirt more than the average person. Maybe that’s part of the reason we went back to the Coronado National Memorial… But hopefully good times were had by all.

Interesting places to lodge in for the adventurous traveler. These places look like so much fun. I can’t believe we missed the one in Issaquah, WA. That was pretty much in our backyard when we lived in WA but the Kokopelli’s Cave Bed & Breakfast in New Mexico looks like something we could be exploring in the nearby future!
