Back in August, we did an evening tour of the only accessible Titan II intercontinental ballistic missile site at the Titan Missile Museum. It was impressive enough that we took our visiting parents & brother on Saturday to see it during the museum’s 25th anniversary.
My older brother is leaving for basic training at the end of the month so to get in some last minute family time, we had an excursion to Eatonville, where we rode the tram tour through Northwest Trek.
My brother & I get our appreciation of nature from our parents, who for as long as I can remember, used to drag us on road trips to various mountains & waterfalls.
Today we got the family together & headed to Larrabee State Park! This was the first state park created in Washington & is situated right along the coast on Samish Bay, just 6 miles outside of Bellingham, WA.
One of my old family stomping ground is the Whidbey Island area. With my older brother leaving in just 2 months for basic training, we’re getting in as many family outings as possible. Today we found ourselves at Whidbey Island again, with a slight detour at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.
