For this weekend’s spur of the moment adventure, we traveled down historic Route 66, explored the ghost town of Oatman, AZ , shopped in snowy Prescott then hiked to the summit of Camelback Mountain in Phoenix…. we covered a lot of ground in less than 2 days.
Even more wicked than Tombstone back in its hey day.
We spent the weekend with my boss & his wife in Jerome, AZ. The wickedness is partially still there in the form of weird hippies but Jerome is now mostly known as “America’s Most Vertical City” and the “Largest Ghost Town in America”.
Have you ever stayed in a haunted hotel? We hadn’t until this weekend! Built in 1898, the Copper Queen Hotel is one of Arizona’s longest running hotels. Some guests there have been dead for years.
