One of my old family stomping ground is the Whidbey Island area.  With my older brother leaving in just 2 months for basic training, we’re getting in as many family outings as possible.  Today we found ourselves at Whidbey Island again, with a slight detour at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival.

I’m really happy to be here. Can you tell?

Afterwards, we headed over to Deception Pass State Park on Whidbey Island.
